Back in 2005 I was pursuing a job working with animals and came across an ad for the newly opened Barking Hound Village Dallas. I loved the vibe when meeting with then manager Lisa Jones and began work immediately. I originally intended for the position to be a fun, flexible job while attending college, but after Lisa and Jeremy bought BHV Texas they offered me a promotion to store manager for Dallas. Having always lived in Texas and being a dog lover, I decided there was no place I would rather be. The opportunity to grow and advance with BHV has been a huge part of my life.
My first dog Roxi, a red heeler, was my best friend and the reason I wanted to work with dogs. I now have 3 heeler mixes Piper, Jovie and Ridge, who are essentially my children that work, travel and hang with me as much as possible!

What do you like to do in your spare time?I like to hike with my dogs and be outside. I enjoy working out and doing yoga. I like to travel anywhere and everywhere, I traveled alone across New Zealand, Australia and Fiji.

What would be your dream vacation?I will literally travel anywhere! I love to explore. Some of my next vacations will hopefully be to Alaska, Switzerland, Bali and the Maldives.

What do you like to do in your spare time?I like to read books while cuddling on the couch with my pups. I love to cook and learn new cooking skills! I'm always looking for a new recipe to try out.

What would be your dream vacation?I would love to travel to Italy and explore all the beautiful cities, specifically Sicily! My favorite place to travel is anywhere with a nice beach to relax on.

What do you like to do in your spare time?I relax by drawing pencil portraits, shooting film photography and learning about medieval art and architecture. I love visual art, so I spend as much time as possible enjoying it!
Since I moved to Dallas in 2021
What would be your dream vacation?There are so many places I would love to visit! Thailand is certainly at the top of my list, followed closely by pretty much any location with ancient ruins to explore.
