Back in 2005 I was pursuing a job working with animals and came across an ad for the newly opened Barking Hound Village Dallas. I loved the vibe when meeting with then manager Lisa Jones and began work immediately. I originally intended for the position to be a fun, flexible job while attending college, but after Lisa and Jeremy bought BHV Texas they offered me a promotion to store manager for Dallas. Having always lived in Texas and being a dog lover, I decided there was no place I would rather be. The opportunity to grow and advance with BHV has been a huge part of my life.
My first dog Roxi, a red heeler, was my best friend and the reason I wanted to work with dogs. I now have 3 heeler mixes Piper, Jovie and Ridge, who are essentially my children that work, travel and hang with me as much as possible!

With over 12 years of experience at BHV, I started my journey in the pet care industry with a passion for dogs and their well-being. BHV was my first job working with dogs, and it has grown into a lifelong career dedicated to providing structured, enriching environments for our four-legged guests.
At home, I have two beloved dogs—Toby (short for Toblerone), a 13-year-old whippet mix rescued from Dallas Animal Services, and Eliza, a 10-year-old Pomeranian adopted from Recycled Pomeranians. They inspire my love for adventure, whether hiking on scenic trails or simply enjoying the outdoors.
My passion for dogs, travel, and the outdoors fuels my dedication to creating the best experience possible for the pets in our care.
I have a Calico cat named Kiwi (6yr old)
What do you like to do in your spare time?I love getting lost in a good book and exploring the outdoors through hiking, always taking time to appreciate the stunning views. I've hiked in many places, but my goal is to experience every trail out there!

What would be your dream vacation?I’m eager to travel anywhere and everywhere! At the top of my list are Tokyo, Greece, Bali, Italy, and Spain.

What do you like to do in your spare time?I like to spend time with my animals and family, travel, game, try new foods, and literally anything that sounds like a good time, I love new experiences.

I have two dogs—Blue, an Akita/Bulldog mix, and Harvey, a Chihuahua/Dachshund mix. I also share my home with three cats—Leo, Simon, and Rue—along with a handful of fish and invertebrate companions.
What do you like to do in your spare time?In my spare time, I love taking my dogs to the dog park, caring for all my little creatures, and exploring new places to eat around the DFW area.

What would be your dream vacation?My dream vacation would be a long trip to Japan, with plenty of time to explore both its cities and countryside. That said, I’m always happy with a beach or camping trip, too!
